letter

I slept at 5am yesterday and woke up around 2pm in the afternoon, I didnt hear anyone knocking on the door as the doorbell is broken a long time ago, I got up and as usual the ritual of going to the bathroom and then try to find something to eat in the kitchen afterwards, as I was passing by the living room, I saw a piece of paper under the front door and picked it up to see what it was, I thought it’s a brochure or flyers that they usually stick at the door but I could see a post office logo on the paper and knew that the postman was here to deliver something which I missed!!

Today I just came back from the post office and I am sooooo happy to recieve this package from my dear friend Zahira from Puerto Rico, I knew she told me that she sent me a little something but I’m surprised that she sent me alot of things like a cute heart shape calculator, a super cute full of colors eraser, a froggy card clipper and a very adorable pink wallet that I will sure going to use it! Thanks so much hun, I am so touched to read the letter you wrote, although we have never met before, but we have been friends for years!! I really treasure your friendship and may we both always stay friends and not lost contact wherever we are! Love you!

Lost in Translation?

I was checking my mailbox today and thought there wouldnt be any mails for me just like always but it’s a habit to go down and check it anyway. I’m surprised to find a small envelope with a Switzerland stamp on it, it’s from my new friend that I met through TA, he used to comment on my photos over there and then about a week ago he private messaged me and asked my address and because he sounded sincere and I have also seen his photos in His TA and so I thought why not?

He told me that he doesnt speak english really well which I didnt believe it first but now I know more that I think he doesnt speak english at all as I’m trying to read what he was trying to say and I am sure he was using the language converter because all the words are not in order and I was trying to make out what he was trying to say. He told me he speaks german and I was assuming he wanted to come and meet me but how are we going to communicate if we met? But for now the polite thing to do when someone sent me a letter is to reply back. Thanks Thomas for the letter.
