Wow it has been 4 months since my last entry, I do miss writing but again I cant write long as my time is limited and i have so much to do. anyway let me start with wishing you a late and I hope you spent your Vday with your loved ones.

Anyways, I have a great news to share. After a very long wait (over 2 years), Mark has finally confirmed his arrival to marry me in Jakarta on the 24th of February. I must say Im full of excitement but also very nervous and not to mention very busy as I am also preparing documents to apply for my Visa to the UK. He’s going to stay a little over 2 weeks and has booked a room for us at Park Lane Hotel, He also wanted to celebrate his Birthday on the 27th of Feb with me so im doing my best to be my own small and private wedding planner and birthday planner etc.

I hope the weather is getting better before he comes as it is raining and very windy here, I guess that’s all for now as I have some forms to fill for the visa application and phone calls to make to the Embassy etc. I will try to write again soon, on that note I hope things go smoothly as im abit stressed out already hehe.

Oh My Gosh! I havent realized until now how much I miss blogging! Beware of the loose fingers of mine, dear readers because this is going to be a very long entry, so much to tell and god knows when will I be able to visit the internet cafe for another update. Here we go….

My eldest sister came to Jakarta from Netherlands with her husband and her daughter in tow for a 3 weeks vacation. After a hug-kiss-cry sessions with the whole family and relatives in Jakarta, my family went to Surabaya to visit my 2nd eldest sister, it was an amazingly fast 13 hours road trip by car drivenby the expert himself, my bro-in-law Henk, I felt like flying, truly and so as the confession of the member of my family that joined in too and had to take the anti-roadsickness pill to keep them asleep and so didnt feel anything. We stayed at a bungalow house at Grand Residence for 5 days and to tell you the truth, we just spent our time there by swimming, swimming and another swimming session like 3 times a day.

To cut the story short as i’m racing against time, After a jolly good time in Surabaya and a sneaky way we drove out of the hotel at 4 o’clock in the morning leaving my 2nd eldest sister to take care of everything and as to not having a sad goodbyes with her 3 sons who were still sleeping, we drove back to Jakarta. I must admit guiltily that I havent seen my 2nd eldest sister for years and so we, the “charmed” sisters took some snapshots for keepsakes.

Back in Jakarta, my niece wanted, well begged and abit forced me to take her to the salon and how can I resist her with such angelic and puppy dogs’ eyes? She is 13 years old and she already surpass me in height. Then my family went to visit my dad’s grave and again my niece and I just cant resist to take snapshots of ourselves.

The rest of the trips were spent at Puncak Pass, Hard Rock Cafe, CJs Pub at Mulia Hotel, Mystere at Ritz Carlton and Mangga Dua and other shopping malls for them to buy things to bring back to Netherlands.I wanted to say that I had fun with my best friend CONNIE when she met us at CJs and we really had fun after alot of wrong turns as my bro-in-law isnt so good with the direction and we are all not familiar with our own town’s streets and places to go hehehe.

All in all, I had fun this summer and everyone in my family were too, my niece cried when we said goodbye at the airport and I’m going to miss her more than I miss my sister hehe, the next week after they flew back to where they came, a box of pickwick tea came by post, all sorts of flavor were inside the package, what a nice touch to a memorable vacation .
